A Land of Many Contrasts

We are so blessed to live in a country that is renowned for its natural beauty, outdoor adventures, sparseness, and unbelievable contrasts.

Our West Coast is a surfing haven where the waters are a glistening blue and the beaches are the whitest in the world, while our Red Centre is home to fiery red dirt and a sun-drenched desert landscape that will make you feel right at home in the Aussie outback.

Uncovering the must-see sights and hidden gems of our majestic West Coast, iconic Red Centre and untamed Top End will make any traveller appreciate what an amazing country Australia really is, especially when all the finer details are taken care of by the experts.

Top End

Discover the spectacular World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park in the Top End, which is home to one-third of Australia’s bird species and other wildlife, and an absolute must-visit location for nature lovers and keen bird-watchers.

Featuring sweeping escarpments, ancient rock art, sparkling waterfalls and wild wetlands, it will become a location you will want to visit again and again. Take a dip in the famous waterholes of Litchfield National Park, spot crocodiles in their natural habitat as you cruise along the famous Yellow Water Billabong and fall in love with the unbelievable tropical sunsets you will witness along the way.

Red Centre

Central Australia holds some of the most spectacular and unique natural landscapes and wonders in the world. Home to the iconic Uluru, Kata Tjuta, MacDonnell Ranges and Kings Canyon, the Red Centre provides truly unforgettable outback experiences that will make you fully appreciate this amazing country that we call home and often take for granted.

Journey northbound from Adelaide, through the Red Centre and onto tropical Darwin. Experience firsthand the fascinating contrast in landscapes, cultures and lifestyles that exist in this diverse land.

Cheers an Uluru sunset with loved ones and new friends, experience a rocky scenic climb for spectacular views over Kings Canyon, learn about ancient rock art at Ubirr and Nourlangie, enjoy a private wine tasting in the Clare Valley, and explore the mesmerising 36 domes of Kata Tjuta.

Western Australia

Western Australia may seem isolated from those of us living on the East Coast, but we can promise you it is well worth a visit and is in no way left out in terms of its unique natural landscapes, stunning coastlines and food and wine culture.

Explore the spectacular natural formations of the eerie Pinnacles and Wave Rock and walk along the famous beaches near Esperance that boast crystal clear turquoise waters and some of the whitest sand in the world.

Indulge in the Margaret River wines and gourmet local produce with your group as you create memories and stories that will last a lifetime. Venture out on an early morning guided base walk of Uluru, or celebrate with new friends during a Margaret River wine tasting.

With such a diverse range of destinations and unique experiences, you are sure to meet some friendly and endearing characters in your touring group, many of whom will become friends for life.

Experience all of these spectacular destinations on an AAT Kings Guided Holiday.
