Laugh for wellbeing in the park – The Gap

Remember the saying ‘laughter is good medicine’? Come along and discover laughter yoga in the park. Laughter yoga involves gentle stretches, deep yoga breaths and playful exercises that encourage us to simulate laughter until it flows freely. The session will go for 40 minutes.
Wear comfortable clothes to move about in and sturdy flat shoes (no special exercise wear needed). Please bring bottled water. A gold coin donation is appreciated.
If you can breathe and smile, you can do laughter yoga!
This is an all-abilities gentle exercise.
The Gap Laughter Club meets every Saturday at 9am and always welcomes newcomers. This session on August 17 will have a Seniors theme!
The section of Walton Bridge Reserve at The Gap in which we exercise is on Waterworks Road Directly opposite JEVONS Street. A yellow Laughter Yoga flag marks the driveway entrance and is up at 8.45am. On site parking is free.
While laughter yoga is wheelchair accessible, the nature of the park requires an all-terrain mobility device to get from the carpark to the grassed area where we exercise.
This is event is subject to weather: if it raining, it will not proceed.
