The outing may last 3 hours, including a stop for morning tea and discussion on the bird sightings, there will be a reasonable amount of walking, say 2-3 kms, but stops on the way for sighting of birds. It is not onerous as most of the group are retirees. Bring good walking shoes, binoculars, camera, chair, and morning tea.
